Delightful Ladies Watch by Choprad at BaselWorld 2012
At the upcoming worldwide exhibition BaselWorld2012 the watch company Chopard will present its delightful watch Imperiale Tourbillon Full Set (Ref. 384250-1002). The novelty with its dazzling appearance combines the best traditions of watchmaking and jewelry. This is neither the first nor the last model from the brand Chopard, which impresses with its breathtaking views and mechanisms. As it is known, Swiss watchmaker Chopard has always surprised everyone with its incomparable models of watches.
The case of the novelty in diameter of 42 mm and thickness of 12.40 mm is made of 18 carat white gold. The case and bezel are fully decorated with round diamonds.
The exclusive Imperiale Tourbillon Full Set watch features with the incomparable dial, which is fully decorated with diamonds. The most difficult was the dial assembly as it is encrusted with diamonds of different sizes and different facets. In the central part of the dial there are hour and minute hands. At 12 o’clock position is an indicator of power reserve with a small hand, while on the index "6" is placed a magnificent tourbillon, which is attached with 4 screws, decorated with amethysts. The marvelous dial is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The novelty is complemented with the bracelet of 18-carat white gold, adorned with baguette-cut diamonds.
The Imperiale Tourbillon Full Set watch is equipped by a mechanism LUC 02.14-L. (4T2I) with manual winding, tourbillon and chronograph (meets COSC standarts). The mechanism is visible through the transparent sapphire crystal, engraved with the inscription «Imperiale», «Tourbillo» and «Chopard», indicating the exclusivity of the model. The caliber is assembled on the 33 jewels, equipped with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, power reserve of 216 hours, i.e. 9 days. Bridges of the mechanism are decorated with Côtes de Genève pattern. The watch water resistant is 30 meters.
