In Geneva on November 11 was held the 18th competition Prix Montre de l'Annee 2011, organized by watch magazine Montres Passion. At the awards ceremony by representatives of the independent jury selected the winners of Prix Montre de l'Annee 2011:

Hermes Arceau Le Temps Suspendu

1st prize went to watch Hermes Arceau Le Temps Suspendu, continue the line created by Henri d'Orin in 1978. The watch has a 40-millimeter case made of rose gold. Centre hands are skeletonised, and in the lower right quarter of the dial is retrograde date. One of the unique features of the watch is a function of stop time. When you click on the "9 o'clock" button the minute and hour hands are fixed at 12 and stopped. At this time the watch mechanism continues to count down the time and the hands are in the exact position of the minutes and hours if you press the button.
