RM011 Silicon Nitride by Richard Mille
The watch company Richard Mille has released a new version of the watch RM 011, which is characterized by the new material. This is a brown silicon nitride (compound of silicon and nitrogen), which had not previously taken in the manufacture of watches. This is solid material that is resistant to extreme temperatures and corrosion, which differs lightweight and is used in the automotive industry in the manufacture of nozzles, rotors and other parts.
The bezel and back cover of the new model RM011 Silicon Nitride are made of silicon nitride. The middle part of the case, crown and chronograph pushers are made of 18-carat red gold.

The skeletonized dial features Arabic numerals, covered with fluorescent material. The chronograph pointers are placed at the 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions.
Masters of the company Richard Mille, inspired by the latest technologies in Formula 1 racing car, have developed a mechanism RMAC1, on the basis of which is assembled a new watch collection. The caliber on the 26 jewels has a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, as well as functions: hours, minutes, seconds, perpetual calendar, and tourbillon.
