Timepiece by Richard Mille for Only Watch 2013

At a charity auction Only Watch 2013, which will take place on September 28 of this year, Monaco, the Swiss watch brand Richard Mille will present a model Tourbillon Prototype Yohan Blake. This timepiece is decorated with Jamaican sprinter Johan Blake during a race at the London Olympics 2012 and at the time when he was on the podium when he received his gold and two silver medals.

The model, developed on the base of the RM 038 watch, has been specially adapted to the requirements of Johann Blake and the usage during sprints.
The case is made of light innovative alloy WE 54 based on magnesium, which was further processed using the new technology of electro plasma oxidation, resulting in increased wear resistance of the alloy and its corrosion properties, and resistance to scratching.

The watch is made in the colors of the national flag of Jamaica. The crown is done in shades of green that blend in well with the color green on the flange of the dial with yellow markings. The strap, made in shades of yellow, looks nice with the white color of the case. The skeletonized dial, showing the beauty of the mechanism, is equipped with two central skeletonized hands to indicate the hours and minutes.
