Nano-Ceramic RM 52-01 Skull Tourbillon by Richard Mille
The new Nano-Ceramic RM 52-01 Skull Tourbillon watch, represented by the Swiss watch company Richard Mille, is the second model in the Skull collection, released in 2012. The novelty has become a symbol of the brand, demonstrating the non-conformist approach to the choice of materials and case design.
The Nano-Ceramic RM 52-01 Skull Tourbillon watch operates on the manufacturing hand-wound mechanism RM052 with a tourbillion, mounted on the base plate of grade 5 titanium with PVD-coated. Titanium with PVD-coated has excellent rigidity and perfectly flat surface. In contrast to the first model, the skull on the novelty’s dial is made of 5N red gold. To create a case, the company Richard Mille has used an unprecedented composite material known as nano-ceramics. The company's engineers, using their advanced experience and skill in the design of complex shapes, have managed to develop a special type of ceramic of unsurpassed quality by reducing the porosity of the raw material.

Three- component jet-black case is very light, assembled by 20 titanium screws.
The novelty Nano-Ceramic RM 52-01 Skull Tourbillon is released in a limited quantity of 30 meters.
