Timepiece after Jean Todt - Tourbillon RM 58-01 World Timer Jean Todt Limited Edition by Richard Mille

Swiss watchmaker Richard Mille has announced the release of a new watch Tourbillon RM 58-01 World Timer Jean Todt Limited Edition, released in honor of Jean Todt, president of the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, FIA).
This time the company Richard Mille chose a different design for its novelty. It has, in comparison with the previous watches, a round case with a diameter of 50 mm and a thickness of 15.35 mm titanium and 18-carat pink gold. The watch water resistant is up to 30 meters. The case consists of 200 items, which are secured by 20 screws.
The multilevel complex dial features hour markers in the form of luminous dots, hour and minute hands coated with white luminescent substance. On the skeletonized dial, at the 9 o’clock position is placed a circular aperture with a second’s hand on the tourbillon carriage, and at the 2 o’clock position – the sector scale of the power reserve. In addition to indicating the hours, minutes and seconds, the new Tourbillon RM 58-01 World Timer Jean Todt Limited Edition watch is also equipped with world time function, the display of which is possible thanks to the rotating bezel with the names of 24 cities in the world, corresponding to the 24th time zones. The transition from one time zone to another is carried out by turning of the bezel, and the local time will be automatically installed. On the flange is engraved the 24-hour block with black and white names to indicate day / night.

An anti-reflective sapphire crystal closes the dial. On the back of the model is also set a sapphire crystal, through which it is possible to monitor the operation of the manufacturing movement 58-01 with manual winding, two barrels, 10-daytime power reserve and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour. The caliber is collected on the 41 jewels, equipped with functions of hours, minutes, seconds, and power reserve.
The novelty comes a on rubber strap in black. The watch is released in a limited edition - 35 items.
Part of the income from the sales of the model Tourbillon RM 58-01 World Timer Jean Todt Limited Edition by Richard Mille will be donated to charity - World Organization for Road Safety and Brain and Spinal Cord Institute.
