New RM030 Kronometry 1999 Limited Edition Watch by Richard Mille
In honor of the anniversary of successful cooperation with famous brand Richard Mille a luxury retailer Kronometry 1999 has announced a new model RM030 Kronometry 1999 Limited Edition, based on the automatic caliber.
To buy the RM030 Kronometry 1999 Limited Edition watch is already possible in the Richard Mille boutique in Cannes and Monaco, and in May 2012 it can already be purchased at the flagship store on New Bond Street in London.
The model RM030 Kronometry 1999 Limited Edition has a titanium case with DLC-coated and comes on a black rubber strap with a titanium buckle. Dark gray bezel and hour indexes are highlighted by the bright orange details of the second track, a power reserve indicator, and a declutchable rotor. The central hands on the tip are colored in orange.
The novelty operates on the basis of an automatic mechanism RMAR1. The unique caliber, collected at 40 jewels, provides a 55-hour power reserve and 28,800 vibrations per hour. Bridges of the mechanism and the main plate are made of titanium. The caliber is modified by a balancer with variable geometry and automatically declutchable rotor from white gold, mounted on ceramic bearings.

The declutchable rotor works like this: when you reach the limit of the power reserve the rotor in automatic way is disconnected from the winding spring. Conversely, when the power reserve of less than 40 hours, the connection of the rotor is automatically carried out until the spring winding will reach the label of 50 hours. At 12 o’clock position is a pointer, on which is indexed the work of the rotor.
Time on skeletonized dial is carried out by means of the central hour, minute and second hands. Date is placed in the aperture on the 7 o’clock position.
The watch RM030 Kronometry 1999 Limited Edition comes on a rubber strap and is released in a limited number of 9 instances.
