Kolkoz project together with Audemars Piguet during the Art Basel in Miami
The watch brand Audemars Piguet during the Art Basel exhibition in Miami has presented a unique project. Together with Perrotin gallery and French duo artists Kolkoz (Benjamin Moreau and Samuel Butrush) the company introduced a new work, called "Curiosity".
The project has received the chalet form that floated before Miami Marine Stadium. This is a snowy chalet, located on top of the "iceberg" in the middle of a sunny Miami. In parallel with the exhibition stand in the Collectors' Lounge, where there will be a retrospective Royal Oak watch models and exhibition of works by the popular British photographer Dan Holdsworth and chalets will be the place for Audemars Piguet activities within a few days.

"Curiosity" project
“We took the idea of space exploration and applied it to the snow that covers the chalet, a journey and arrived at the center of water stadium in the scorching sun of Florida. It was interesting to look at his chalet in the natural way, as a symbol of the hut, symbol of the American colonial settlement beginning. And if we look at the chalet as on the image of American colonial architecture, the product detects a stark contrast to the golden era of the idle life of the 1970s and elegant water stadium Hilario Candela. As a symbolic image of the past and as bold, curious researcher outlandish landscapes of Miami, the chalet once met with a great stadium. This is a moment for reflection, and I think one can say to another, "Look what I've become," - noted Moreau and Butrush.
The project will be open on 7 and 8 December.
