Novelty by Audemars Piguet in Honor of the Dragon’s Year

Founded back in 1875 the legendary watchmaker Audemars Piguet presents to the worldwide watch market its next novelty Jules Audemars Dragon Perpetual Calendar.
There is nothing new that many companies produce models in honor of the Dragon’s Year. New Jules Audemars Dragon Perpetual Calendar watch supplements the collection of these watches. The unique model is not only in the original design, but the rotor, which has the shape of the character in 2012, i.e. a dragon.

A sleek novelty is presented in a round case with a diameter of 41 mm and a height of 9.15 mm in rose gold. The classic white dial features gold Roman numerals, and the two central hands to indicate the hours and minutes. Small additional windows are located at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions, used to indicate the day, date, month, leap year and moon phases. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal.

The back side of the model are also closed with a transparent sapphire crystal, which allows monitoring the operation of an automatic caliber 2120/2802, consisting of 343 components. Some of these items are decorated by hand. Power reserve is 40 hours.
