Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 40 Years Exhibition: journey to the roots

This year a worldwide traveling exhibition of Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 40 Years kicked off. The starting point of the exhibition was New York, then after going to Milan and Paris in early autumn exhibition was delayed in Beijing, and as a result, will be finished in October in Singapore.

CEO ad interim François-Henry Bennahmias, Asia Managing Director Oliviero Bottinelli and Chief Artistic Officer Octavio Garcia attended the opening of the exhibition. Given the fact that the small town of Le Brassus in Valle de Joux in 1875 became the home of Audemars Piguet, three artists Sebastien Leon Agneessens, Quayola and Dan Holdsworth used for decorations exhibition installation, photography, sound, film, reflecting the origin of Audemars Piguet , the skill of the company and its highly artistic taste.

The famous manufactory has presented 100 exceptional pieces for the exhibition, starting with the very first model of Royal Oak, released in 1972 and ending with the latest collections, announced at the SIHH 2012. There exhibited the best jewelry watches, the most complicated watches and models from private collections.
Beijing will be the first time demonstrated the first 10/100 model of the new limited edition Royal Oak Leo Messi, released in three versions in 1000 items. It will be offered in December at the auction and all proceeds will be donated to charity of Lionel Messi.

Visitors personally were able to enjoy artistic skill of watchmakers.
Organizers celebrated the opening of the exhibition with gala dinner, which was attended by more than 500 dignitaries and celebrities from around the world. The dinner is decorated with the performance of the Irrepressibles, in the work of which the main feeling is passion - the emotion, which is important for the company Audemars Piguet.
