But only two models were in the final round of the competition.
MP- 05 "LaFerrari" – the watch is manufactured by Hublot in honor of the team and a car Ferrari. The model is characterized by a 50-day power reserve, which is provided by 11 barrels arranged in a line similar to the vertebral column and interrelated in such a way as not discharged, but rather support each other. At present, the mechanism of the watch has the largest number of parts - 637.
The mechanism has an original display, characterized in the foreground with a vertical small second’s dial, indexing seconds by an aluminum cylinder attached to the tourbillon cage.
The hours and minutes are displayed to the right of barrels, also with a black anodized aluminum cylinder. The left is the power reserve indicator. Supporting bars are made of anodized aluminum in red – the icon color of Ferrari.
Antikythera SunMoon
The Antikythera mechanism is one of the most mysterious objects in the history of civilization. Discovered in Greek waters in 1901, it is considered the first "astronomical calculator " in the history of mankind , and dates from the 2nd century BC.
In honor of this unique mechanism, the company Hublot has released a unique limited edition Antikythera SunMoon in 20 items, which are simplified and miniaturized version of the mechanism. The caliber, assembled from 295 components, has 7 complications. The Antikythera SunMoon watch has lunar and solar calendars, as well as the ability to display the star position of the Sun and the Moon. The piece ends flying tourbillon (no balls), makes one revolution per minute, and second indexing. Traditional central hands fix minutes and hours. The mechanism with a balance frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour has a 120 - hour power reserve.
