Classic Fusion Skeleton Haute Joaillerie by Hublot at BaselWorld 2013

The legendary watchmaker Hublot, for many years engaged in the creation of incomparable watches, which have no analogues in the world, this year pleased its fans with exquisite watch, showered with diamonds.
1185 baguette-cut diamonds, 4100 hours of cutting, 500 hours of checking sizes and quality control, 4 months for inserting gemstones. 64 specialists, who are the real experts in 11 different areas, worked over this magnificent timepiece. It seems that says everything.
The sleek novelty Classic Fusion Skeleton Haute Joaillerie (Ref. 505.WX.9000.LR) is introduced this year in Basel, at BaselWorld 2013.

The skeletonized watch is equipped by a tourbillon mechanism, manufactured by Hublot’s artisans. The mechanism MHUB6010.H1.1 with manual winding has a frequency 21,600 semi-oscillations per hour, 120-hour power reserve, built on 19 jewels, composed of 155 components.
The mechanism is inserted in a round case “Classic Fusion” in diameter of 45 mm in 18-carat white gold with rhodium plating. The case is equipped by a bezel in 18-carat white gold with rhodium plating and diamonds. The bezel is attached to the case with 6 H-shaped titanium screws.
It should be noted that for decorating the case with baguette-cut diamonds, the team of 15 people took more than 1,800 hours for their cut, and 200 hours to verify the size and quality control.
The openwork dial is decorated with jewels, including also the minute scale. It is decorated with 62 baguette-cut diamonds, total weight of 2.31 carats. A double anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the skeletonized dial with two central hands to indicate the hours and minutes, as well as a tourbillon at the 6 o’clock position.
The crown, placed at the 3 o’clock position, is made of 18-carat white gold, adorned with diamonds and the Hublot’s logo.

The novelty’s bracelet, adorned with 791 baguette-cut diamonds, with a team of 25 people spent 2,300 hours on their cut and 300 hours to check the size and quality control. In addition, 300 hours spent on the installation of stones, including processing, finishing, polishing, assembly and testing for water resistance, which reaches up to 30 meters.
Geneva company Salanitro, which is a partner of Hublot to create products of fine jewelry, spent more than four months on the decoration of the watch. To this end, 24 specialists have combined their skills and abilities in 9 different areas.
One of the main challenges when creating the novelty is diamonds’ setting. Therefore: 3 rows of gemstones adorn the case, emphasizing its elegant design. The total weight of 322 carats of diamonds is 17.39, while the bezel is adorned with 120 diamonds weighing 5.77 carats, the sides of the case - 122 diamonds weighing 7.24 carats, two lugs - 66 diamonds weighing 3.77 carats, the crown is decorated with 24 diamonds weighing 0.61 carats.
The Classic Fusion Skeleton Haute Joaillerie timepiece by Hublot is released in a limited edition of 8 items.
