The watch company Hublot has already produced a model amFar (Ref. 301.CI.1170.GR.AMF11), dedicated to the eponymous foundation to investigate ways of treating HIV. But it was a black watch for men. Now the company presents a women's watch amFar New York Gala.

Hour markers, hands and buttons as well are resolved in the company colors of the amFar organization, and at the 5 o’clock position is the logo of the organization. However, the female version has a white mother of pearl dial and the rant of white gold decorated with 48 baguette-cut diamonds. Another version of the watch has a steel rant with the 114-th round shape diamonds. The case of Hublot amFar New York Gala is made of black ceramic, and in general follows the outline of the male model. But the chronological arrangement of the counters on the dial is shown as a mirror: the second’s pointer has moved from "9 to 3 o'clock position," and at the 3 o’clock position its place was by a small 30-minute dial. At the bottom like in a man's watch there is a 12-hour pointer; and the date window occupies the position between markers 4 and 5 o'clock. Inside the watch is mounted an automatic mechanism.

Hublot amFar New York Gala watch is available on a white crocodile leather strap with lines of blue and yellow colors that match the amFar organization colors. Why the watch is called the New York Gala? The fact is that the first (male) model was presented at New York gala evening in honor of the opening of company’s new boutique.

The charitable organization amFAR was founded in 1986 by the famous American actress Elizabeth Taylor. amFAR engaged in carrying out research studies on the HIV virus and the development of methods to struggle with it. In addition, amFAR is responsible for implementing the results of these studies not only for the prevention and organization of educational programs, but treatment of the disease.
