New Senator Moon Phase Skeletonized Edition Watch by Glashütte Original

German watchmaker Glashütte Original has announced a new limited edition model of Senator Moon Phase Skeletonized Edition (Ref. 49-13-15-15-04), which embodies a unique combination of hand-engravers’ skill and modern high-tech of watch-making.
Sleek round case of the novelty is made of polished red gold with a diameter of 42 mm and a thickness of 11.2 mm. On the top the case is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, which is also placed on the back side of the case. On the periphery the skeletonized white dial is graduated by markings in the form of Roman numerals and "railway track" minute scale. Time is indexed on the dial with blued central hours and minutes hands. Small second’s hand is put to the lateral display at the 6 o’clock position. A moon phase indicator is located between 10 and 11 o’clock, and between 1 and 2 o’clock there is a hand-type power reserve indicator.

The model Senator Moon Phase Skeletonized Edition (Ref. 49-13-15-15-04) operates on the basis of skeletonized and decorated with an engraving manufacturing movement GO 49-13 with manual winding and fine-tuning "swan neck" regulator. The unique caliber, providing a 40-hour power reserve, beautifully decorated and finished: winding wheels are polished with radiant finish, chatons are made of gold, and details of the mechanism are adorned with elegant engraving. Caliber has blued screws.
The model Senator Moon Phase Skeletonized Edition (Ref. 49-13-15-15-04) comes on a strap of matte black Louisiana crocodile leather. The buckle on the strap is made of red gold.
