BaselWorld 2012: New PanoReserve Watches by Glashütte Original

The legendary watch company Glashütte Original at the annual watch and jewelery exhibition BaselWorld 2012 has introduced three versions of exclusive watches Art & Technik from the PanoReserve series:
Ref. / 65-01-25-15-04 / - with a case of red gold,
Ref. / 65-01-22-12-04 / - with a stainless steel case and a silver dial,
Ref. / 65-01-23-12-04 / - with a stainless steel case and a dial of gray ruthenium.
New exciting watches from the PanoReserve series are a refined interpretation of the characteristic for Pano watches dials with an asymmetrical arrangement of the elements.
The model with the case, which diameter is 40 mm, and thickness - 11.7 mm, from red-gold has a silver dial and executed in a minimalist style. It is made with the use of the benefits that result is obtained by a large case and thin bezel. The silver dial of the novelty features additional dials with hour and minute hands and applied hour indices of red gold. Another smaller dial with second hand is harmoniously "inscribed" in the dial with hour and minute indication.
A large date aperture, which is characteristic for the watches from the Pano collection, retains its certain place at the 4 o’clock positions.
The pointer of the power reserve attracts the attention with its original design performance, which decorated with concise pattern in the form of converging at one point rays at the 2 o’clock position.

Two other versions of the PanoReserve models have case of polished and satin stainless steel. The dial of the first model is made of silver in warm colors, on which are placed the subsidiary indicators with blued hands and superimposed hour markers. On the white dial black numbers date aperture look original at the 4 o’clock position. The power reserve indicator with the words «Auf / Ab» and blued hand takes its place at the 2 o’clock position.
The second version is presented with a dial from the gray ruthenium, subsidiary dials with applied hour markers and hands in white gold. On gray background white numerals of the date aperture and power reserve display with white hand and white inscription«Auf / Ab» look very nicely.
The dials of all the three models are protected by a double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The back of the watch is also covered with a sapphire crystal, which allows to enjoy the work of the manufacturing movement 65-01 with manual winding, measuring 32.2 mm x 6.1 mm. The caliber is assembled on the 48 stones, equipped with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, power reserve of 42 hours, and also features hours, minutes, seconds, date display and power reserve.
The transparent sapphire case back lets you see a breathtaking view of the double regulator "swan neck", a balance hammer with hand-engraving, balance sheet and coil spring for the traditional Glashütte three-quarter plate with a brand’s pattern of "stripes", gold chatons with a screw adjusting and blued screws.
The new PanoReserve watches are offered in complete with a black or brown Louisiana alligator leather strap, color and trim of straps may vary depending on the model. To buy the PanoReserve watches with a gray dial is available also on a steel bracelet.
