Chanel Timepiece for Only Watch 2013

French fashion house Chanel for a charity auction Only Watch 2013, which will take place on September 28 this year, has released a unique novelty Premiere Flying Tourbillon.
It should be noted that the first watch designed by Chanel in 1987, was a model Premiere. In 2012, together with the company Renaud & Papi the watch brand has released Premiere Flying Tourbillon, and last year, for the first time the company Chanel at the 12th ceremony of the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) won the prize for best women’s watch Première Tourbillon Volant.

The novelty Premiere Flying Tourbillon, which will be presented at the auction this year, has a rectangular case with beveled corners in length of 37 mm, a width of 28.5 mm in 18-carat white gold. The watch water resistant - 30 meters. 92 diamonds weighing 1.67 carats encrust the case on both sides. The crown is made of gold and decorated with 13th diamonds and black ceramic cabochon. The fixed bezel is made of black ceramic.
On the black dial, there are two hands, decorated with 15th round diamonds, as well as the tourbillon carriage, located in the lower part of the dial. The tourbillon is decorated with 19 diamonds. The dial is made in a concise style and contains no hour markers and numerals. The company's logo adorns the dial at the 12 o’clock position. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial.

The original novelty Premiere Flying Tourbillon operates on the base of the Swiss caliber with manual winding, which is developed by Marc Renaud & Papi for Chanel. Compiled by 18 jewels, the mechanism has a frequency 21,600 vibrations per hour, 40-hour power reserve, with features indicating the hours, minutes, "flying" tourbillon, which consists of 73 items, weighing 0,432 grams. The carriage is decorated with a stylized camellia, Mademoiselle Chanel's favorite flower.
The delightful model comes on a black alligator strap. There is also another black satin strap with a double folding clasp in 18-carat white gold with 30 round diamonds.
