Hublot and football

Hublot watch-company thanks to traditional Swiss quality and sophisticated design, perfectionism and successful marketing work of a general director Jean-Claud Buiver at the present moment is one of the most significant de lux brands, presenting watch for world football. Hublot is official timekeeper of UEFA and FIFA.
In 2008, it signed a partnership agreement between CEO of Hublot Jean-Claud Buiver and UEFA President Michel Platini.

Jean-Claud Buiver and the president of FIFA Zepp Blatter in 2010 signed a contract of partnership according to which Hublot watch-company became an official timekeeper at the World Championship in Republic of South Africa in 2010.

In October 2008 Hublot company signed a sponsor contract for 3 years with “Manchester United” football-team. In this case a model Hublot Big Bang Red Devil was created. There were two variants of this model, the first one had a case made of 18carat gold and black ceramics. In 2009 a second model Big Bang Red Devil II released in limited and numbered edition of 99 items. Case is made of rose gold diameter 44,5mm. Automatic movement supplied with chronograph caliber ÍUB45 with 42 hours power reserve. Dial is black and mat, there is a minute counted at the mark of “9 o'clock”. There is an aperture of date at the position of “6 o'clock”. Watch indexes are red colored. Next to the mark “3 o'clock” there is a logo “ Manchester United” - Red Devil. Hands are black with yellow luminous coating. Sapphire crystal with ant-reflective sputtering. Strap is made of genuine alligator leather and genuine rubber of black color. Buckle is rollaway PVD coated. Waterproof 100meters.    
 

For the beginning of World Championship in Republic of South Africa new model  Hublot  Official World Cup Watch was issued. Diameter is 45mm. Watch is supplied with automatic movement caliber HUB1112 (base caliber ETA), 21 gem, 28 800 vph, 42hours power reserve. Dial is made of rose gold 18carat, glazed decorated with golden laid on indexes and relief image of FIFA World Cup Trophy on the case back.
Hands are also made of gold. Strap is made of real alligator leather combined with genuine rubber. The model issued in limited edition in 100 items.

In Honor of Spanish football team win at the World Championship Competition a limited edition of Hublot Big Bang FIFA World Cup watch -  was released in 100 items.
They are designed in colors of the national team. The case is made of rose gold and ceramics combination, diameter is 44mm. The movement is automatic, supplied with chronograph. The dial is dark-blue with a FIFA 2010 logo. At the mark “9 o'clock” there is a 45 minute counter, created by HUBLOT especially for football watch. At the mark of “6 o'clock” there is a date aperture. The indexes are colored in colors of the Spanish football team - red and yellow.  
 
The hands are of the same color gamut. The strap is made of alligator leather and real rubber. At the back of the case there is an image of the Spanish flag and a golden star a symbol of the World Football Championship.  

In the South America Hublot brand represents an Argentina official football team. In  an advertisement they mentioned a legendary Diego Maradona, having issued Hublot Big Bang Maradona watch. The case is made of black ceramics, the diameter is 44,5mm. An automatic movement with a chronometer, caliber is HUB1146, 55 gems, 42 hours power reserve. In the black dial there is a facsimile of Diago Maradonna. At the mark of “3 o'clock” there is a second-counter, in the middle there is a figure “10” -  Maradonna's number in the football-team. The strap is made of an alligator genuine leather. The base is made of a real rubber. The buckle is retractable.
At the back of the case there is an image of Diego Maradonna with hands up, cheering the win. The series is limited, there are only 250 items.

Also a limited edition of  Hublot  Big Bang Federacion Mexican de Futbol watch was issued in 250 items. Diameter is 44mm supplied with chronograph ans 42hours power reserve.
The watch has a Mexican flag design: green, red and white. The case is made of black ceramics. The dial is black and skeletonized, protected by sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. A combined strap is made of genuine alligator leather of green color on the black real rubber base.
