James Magnussen - New Maurice Lacroix Ambassador

Recently the watch brand Maurice Lacroix has announced its new messenger: it is a world champion and Olympic swimmer James Magnussen. His record - 47.10 seconds - was beaten by only swimmers in now banned polyurethane suits, Magnussen reached high results in batches of textile materials.

In 2011 at the World Championships James ahead of his, more experienced rivals and become the new champion in the 100-meter freestyle race. With this victory, Magnussen became the first Australian who won the gold medal at the World Swimming Championships since its inception in 1973, and the first Australian to win a victory in this race. Magnussen has helped Australia to declare itself in the championship after a 10- year hiatus.
