New Sporty Pontos S Diving Chronograph Watch by Maurice Lacroix
At the upcoming international exhibition BaselWorld 2012 the well-known Swiss company Maurice Lacroix will introduce a new sporty watch Pontos S Diving Chronograph, which claims the leading position in the list of diving watches top ten.
Combining the retro style with modern fashion trends with its magnificent lines, masters of Maurice Lacroix reached perfection as in the external image of the watch and in its technical execution. The company Maurice Lacroix is positioned at the watch market as a manufacturer of high level mechanical watches, but the brand has decided to depart from the usual course, creating sporty models, and opening for itself a wider range of consumers.
Despite the 200-meter water resistance, the watch will fit perfectly with a variety of styles. The round case with a diameter of 43 mm, made of stainless steel, attracts a combination of matte and polished surfaces. The large chronograph buttons and an internal rotating bezel look graceful on the case. In the crown is integrated a start/stop button.
The dial of the novelty from black aluminum with a matte finish is graded by minute markings, made in several color versions: black, orange, blue and red. Each option corresponds to the color of half a minute hand, the tip of the chronograph second hand and the seal ring on the button. Also, the tone is matched by a striped strap NATO. But if you're a fan of elegant style, the watch on a black leather strap or steel bracelet suits you. The strap is equipped by a folding clasp with double safety system, and a special device to carry them over the diving suit.
Inside the case is mounted a manufacturing automatic movement ML112, based on the Valjoux 7750 caliber. Rhodium-coated mechanism provides a 46-hour power reserve and the carrying frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The chronological functions are displayed on a 12-hour indicator at 6 o'clock position, 30-minute indicator at 12 o’clock position and by means of the central second hand. The small seconds hand is put out to the lateral dial at the 9 o'clock position. Date is located in the aperture at the 6 o'clock position.
To buy the Pontos S Diving Chronograph watch is available through the official representatives of the company Maurice Lacroix.
