Corum presents an updated version of the historical model Chargé d'Affaires

The watch company Corum has announced the creation of the replica of the historic model Chargé d'Affaires, released a year after the foundation of the brand and introduced in its first catalog. The updated version will be officially presented at the annual exhibition Baselworld-2013, which will be held from 25 April to 2 May.
The novelty is designed based on the restored historic caliber with manual winding SO286. The mechanism is equipped with two winding barrels, in each of which is built a separate crown, one of which drives the hands, and the other - an alarm. The caliber is based on 17 jewels, frequency vibration of balance - 18000 pc / h (2.5 Hz), power reserve - 46 hours.

The updated version is fully consistent with the historical model. The only exception - is the case size. The watch case has a slightly larger diameter - 38 mm. Material -18K white or pink gold. Dial - silver plated. On it are allocated applied gold hour markers, minute scale, made with thin lines, an inscription «Chargé d'Affaires» and company’s logo. Hour and minute hands are made in the style of dauphine, second’s hand - in the style bâton. The fourth central hand with red tip is responsible for the alarm function and is regulated by a crown, on the side of the case at the 4 o’clock position.
The new version of the Chargé d'Affaires watch will be released in a limited edition of 200 items, 150 of which in a case of rose gold and 50 - of white gold. Both versions are available with a black crocodile leather strap.
