New Admiral's Cup Legend 42 Watch by Corum: tribute to a legend

The new bi-color Admiral's Cup Legend 42 by the known Swiss company Corum with a case of red gold or stainless steel, is presented in the same metallic blue, which was used in the original version released in 1983. The novelty, limited to 400 items, is a tribute to this historic watch.

When in 1960 the Admiral's Cup was first issued, it immediately proved to be one of the most water-resistant sporty watch. 23 years later, adding proprietary design of the elements - the 12 nautical pennants as hour markers and twelve-sided case, the company Corum has introduced a novelty - Admiral's Cup Legend 42 in a bronze-blue.

Waterproof to 50 meters, the case diameter is 42 mm. 18-carat rose gold and stainless steel used to create a fixed bezel and crown, adorned at the end with the logo of Corum. The sides of the case, the ledges of the crown, lugs and case back are covered PVD-coated metallic blue. The case on the top is equipped with an anti-reflective twelve-sided sapphire crystal.

Applied hour markers in gold and steel, coated with white luminous material, mark the blue dial with vertical guilloche. At the periphery of the dial, maritime signal flags perform hour indices. The central hands of hour and minute carry out time indication. The small second’s hand is put to the lateral dial at the 6 o’clock. The date is built into the aperture at the 3 o'clock position.
The novelty operates on the base of the manufacturing automatic mechanism CO395, 27 jewels, which has the carrying frequency of 28 800 vibrations per hour and 42-hour power reserve.

The model Admiral's Cup Legend 42 Ref. 395.101.30/V705 AB10 comes on a metal bracelet with internal links of stainless steel and the model of Admiral's Cup Legend 42 Ref. 395.101.34/V705 AB11 - on a bracelet with inner links of red gold. The outer row of units is covered by PVD-coated in metallic blue.
The novelty, introduced in red gold, is released in a limited quantity of 100 items, and the model of stainless steel is limited to 300 items.
