BaselWorld 2012: Ti-Bridge Power Reserve Watch - the concept of linear time by Corum

Watchmaker Corum, famous for its daring experiments in the field of watch mechanics and original design, has presented at the annual international exhibition BaselWorld 2012 an original watch Ti-Bridge Power Reserve.
The model Ti-Bridge Power Reserve is basically a logical extension of Ti-Bridge Power Reserve watch from titanium represented by the company in 2011. The unique model that combines the attractive aesthetics and mechanics of the highest level, in due time became the standard and the company showcased at the exhibition in 2012 the updated version of this watch.
The basis of the Ti-Bridge Power Reserve watch became a noble combination of titanium and red gold. The new version of the Ti-Bridge Power Reserve watch fully conveys the pioneering spirit of Corum in a modern twist.
The watch is equipped with the famous manufactory mechanism of the "baguette" type, which is fixed in a horizontal position inside the case on the four rails at with the ruthenium coating - the highest manifestation of an elegant watch mechanics in its purest form.
The basis of the model is the manufactory caliber SO107. The mechanism has a few specifics.
• The system of differential, consisting of three gears, one of which is shifted relative to the center of the planetary gears. Depending on the direction of gear’s rotation it is wrapped around its axis or around the axis of the other two gears, connecting the compact power reserve with a winding barrel and a winding shaft.
• The power reserve is fixed to the comb of the nickel-phosphate, which in combination with the applied technology, LIGA (German abbreviation: lithography, electroforming, formation) causes a high degree of precision manufacturing, which is impossible for machining. Among other things, this method provides very accurate indication of power reserve.
Materials used to create the watch are strong red gold and titanium, perfectly combined with each other, creating a harmonious duet. Red gold gives the watch a luxurious noble, and the titanium movement complements the model with modern dynamics. Hour markers and logo are applied. Hour and minute hands, and power reserve are covered with fluorescent material. The watch strap, made of genuine crocodile leather, is equipped by a triple-folding clasp with two buttons of locking.
