BaselWorld 2012: Admiral's Cup Legend 42 Chrono Watch by Corum

At the international exhibition BaselWorld 2012 the watch company Corum presents an Admiral's Cup Legend 42 Chrono watch, which is an organic extension of the collection in 2011. In the watch line Legend, released in 2011, is dominated the classic understated style, which, as already noticed by experts, in a smooth way has "moved" into the new line.
This collection is already more than half a century considered to be the original dedication to the marine theme, sailors and navigation, in short, all those "who is under the sail." The mechanism of the watch is certified by COSC - a famous manufactory caliber CO983, which provides an indication of the hours, minutes, seconds, date, and, of course, chronograph function. The frequency of the balance is 28,000 vibrations per hour, power reserve - 42 hours.
XX century has become in the history not only as an age of rapid industrial development, but as the century of democratization of sporty watches design that with each release of new models, designed for diving, up to watches, which rose to incredible heights on the pilot’s wrist, acquired an increasing shade of elegance. Watchmaking has struck with the evolution of the watches each time becoming more sophisticated in their functionality and appliance of new technologies. It originated as the direction of Sport de Luxe.

However, during the rate of this stunning development, the watches by company Corum, has always stood apart, in the sense that had the distinctive design, unlike to any other watches. Since 1960 they have increasingly expressed the spirit of sportsmanship in a concentrated, exaggerated form - the spirit of Corum sporty watches.
Historical heritage and strong, recognizable design - that can be described the exceptionalism of Admiral's Cup Legend 42 Chrono watch. The presented chronograph fully reproduces the characteristic silhouette of the cult collection lines, harmoniously combining the elegance and sportsmanship.
The original watch is made in the best traditions of cult models Admiral's Cup, remaining faithful to the classic 12-faceted bezel, which, however, at the same time has a more flowing lines: this is especially noticeable in the chronograph buttons, made in a streamlined form.
The elegant case with a diameter of 42 mm is equipped by a screwed case back with a sapphire glass, beneath which is visible the watch mechanism. The watch is represented in the version of the steel, in the versions of steel and gold, in the version of red gold 750. At the exhibition were presented 11 versions. On the watch dial there are three counters.
The Admiral's Cup Legend 42 Chrono watch is equipped with alligator strap with a spin buckle, in the version of the gold with folding clasp and in the version of the steel and steel / gold. Also the model is available on a bracelet from the corresponding metal.
