New Double Tourbillon Technique 30В° Bi-color Timepiece by Greubel Forsey

The watch company Greubel Forsey has introduced a new model Double Tourbillon Technique 30° Bi-color, which is an interpretation of the development Double Tourbillon 30°, installed in the brand`s watch, made in a classic style and a traditional form.

The platinum model has a steel bridge of the Double Tourbillon 30 ° carriage, perfectly in harmony with the platinum. The case sides are equipped with titanium plates coated with carbon (ADLC). On the plates, perfectly fitting with the black dial, on which the principles of Greubel Forsey are engraved.
The watch in red gold 5N is presented in warm colors of red gold, softening the contrast with black chrome caliber accents. The case size - 47.5 by 16.84 mm.

At the 1:30 position is a Greubel Forsey spherical differential, combined with a power reserve indicator at the 3 o`clock position, the swan neck bridge and a beak-shaped hand. At the 6 o`clock position is installed Double Tourbillon 30° with a balance frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour. The first carriage, making a turn in 4 minutes, rotates horizontally, while inclined at 30°, the second carriage produces rotation in one minute. The small second`s hand is embedded into the additional dial at the 9 o`clock position. Finally, at the 11 o`clock position is placed one above the other barrels, equipped with a system of protection from exposure of the double tourbillion anti-balance. They supply the watch 120 hours of accurate timekeeping, with a total reserve of 160 hours. The special construction in the center of the watch securely supports the hands. A similar device supports spherical differential winding system from the caliber`s side.
