The young Swiss Angular Momentum watch brand has attained the fame of high quality and aesthetically perfect watches manufacturer for the 13 years of its existence.
In 2010 the company produced the “Montre à Guichet Guilloche Titanium” model, harmoniously combining the company's philosophy, creative approach to design and super-precise watch equipment. The latest technological achievements of the watch industry were used in the model's creation.
The watch's case is made of class 5 titanium, combining lightness, durability, high corrosion resistance, low thermal expansion rate, good plasticity at low density. The alpha-beta fusion is heat-resistant (used in production up to 400 degrees Celsius) and is the most cross functional of all titanium fusions. Class 5 titanium is as firm, as steel, but it weighs much less.
It has high chemical resistance to many aggressive environments of both non-organic and organic origin at normal and high temperatures.
The guilloche dial is made as a medallion with a “Soleil Inca” (“The Inca Sun”) tracery. The crown, driving the watch movement and correcting time, is situated on a side surface of the case at the “3” position. The crown with a cabochon is made of black onyx. The case back is made as a silver medallion with an engraved leaves picture. The watch is supplied with a black leather strap, ideally fitting the model's execution general concept.
The Montre à Guichet Guilloche Titanium watch is assembled on the basis of a Swiss automatic movement with a Revolving-Disk-System or R.D.S. Thanks to the innovative indication system, time is indicated not by the central hands, but by revolving discs, indexing hours and minutes.
The Revolving-Disk-System concept was created by Angular Momentum company in 1997. The invention was patented in Switzerland (patent number CH 686988). The R.D.S. System was first used in the “Pioneer” collection's watches.
