Bell & Ross BR-05 Chrono Snow Rocket: 250-Piece Speed-Skiing Chronograph

Bell & Ross has introduced the BR-05 Chrono Snow Rocket, a limited-edition automatic chronograph inspired by speed skiing. The late-October 2026 release pairs a matte white dial with red markings and a tachymeter scale. Production is limited to 250 pieces, with the US-listed rubber-strap version priced at $7,200 and the steel-bracelet version at $7,700.
A speed-skiing theme in the BR-05 case
The Snow Rocket uses the rounded-square profile of the BR-05 Chrono, with a 42 mm-wide stainless steel case measuring 14.25 mm thick. Satin-brushed and polished surfaces establish the familiar integrated-case design, while the red accents give this edition a distinct visual identity. The white dial has red italic numerals, and the central chronograph seconds hand provides an additional red detail.
A tachymeter scale surrounds the dial. It allows a wearer to read an average speed for a measured distance when the elapsed time is suitable for the scale, a complication that fits the watch's skiing inspiration. The chronograph's 30-minute totaliser is at 3 o'clock, with running small seconds at 9 o'clock and a date aperture at 6 o'clock.
The hour and minute hands are openworked, outlined in red and filled with white Super-LumiNova BGW9, which produces a blue glow. Anti-reflective sapphire covers the dial, and the sapphire caseback incorporates a customised red transfer referencing the skiing theme. Water resistance is rated at 100 metres.
Automatic movement and two references
The BR-05 Chrono Snow Rocket uses the automatic BR-CAL.326 chronograph movement, with a stated 60-hour power reserve. Bell & Ross offers the watch on either grooved red rubber or a satin-finished and polished steel bracelet. Both versions use a steel folding clasp.
- Rubber-strap reference: BR05C-KL-ST/SRB; US price $7,200.
- Steel-bracelet reference: BR05C-KL-ST/SST; US price $7,700.
- Case: stainless steel, 42 mm wide and 14.25 mm thick.
- Movement: automatic Bell & Ross calibre BR-CAL.326; 60-hour power reserve.
- Functions: central chronograph seconds, 30-minute counter, small seconds, date and tachymeter.
- Water resistance: 100 metres.
- Edition: 250 pieces.
How the two configurations differ
The case, dial and movement remain the same across the two listed references. The choice is between the red rubber strap, which carries the Snow Rocket colour scheme onto the wrist, and the steel bracelet, which gives the watch a more continuous metallic appearance. The reference suffix identifies the selected configuration and should therefore be retained when comparing prices or ordering.
The Snow Rocket is a dedicated version of an existing BR-05 chronograph rather than an entirely new calibre or case family. Its white-and-red dial, speed-skiing narrative and restricted production define the release within the wider BR-05 collection.
