Watches of Bell & Ross at the aviation auction Artcurial

The famous French auction house Artcurial has organized an unusual auction, the main theme of which was aviation. At the auction, under the name Aeronautics was presented items that are directly related to aviation. The main theme of the event was the words "Aeronautics, the conquest of air and space." And among the lots for auction at Dassault were displayed watches Bell & Ross, whose proximity to the aircraft exhibits auction was a real compliment to the brand.

It's not a secret the relationship with the world of aeronautics and history of watch brand Bell & Ross. This brand has created a team of developers and designers of aircraft instruments. However, the proximity of the auction lots, such as instrument panels, cockpit and even aircraft engines - real recognition for the Bell & Ross as a serious device for aviators. Three instances of watches Bell & Ross were presented.

The first model is called the Pilot Aeronaval Sapphire - the watch has been created in 2007 in a limited edition of 150 copies. It is dressed in a round metal case, has a black bezel with markings, the crown is protected by the special case projections. The watch is presented on a metal bracelet. This model was sold for 6100 euros.

Another two models belong to the BR03 Aviation Type line - a wrist watch, made of steel, and (the second instance) the carbon created in 2009 by a series of 250 specimens of each species. These watches were sold in 4300 and 4800 euros respectively. The last two of these models have been created by special order of the Air Force in France and in the broader market was never received.
