New BR 01 Horizon Limited Edition Watch by Bell & Ross
Swiss watchmaker Bell & Ross presented limited edition line of BR 01 Horizon.
True to its philosophy, the company Bell & Ross has released a new "air" collection, inspired by the design of the aircraft instrument panel, where each tool is a starting point in terms of clarity, reliability and performance.
Indicator of the aircraft in the air, an important tool in the field of air navigation allows you to control the aircraft's position relative to the horizon, regardless of visibility conditions. The company's designers borrowed the graphic display to create original and innovative display.
A two-level dial in accordance with the graphic design is clear in reading. Background dial (A) is divided into two parts: the sky is represented in gray, and the earth - in black. They are separated by the white line marking of the horizon from 9:00 to 3:00. External Disk (C) provides a clear index hour markup. The bridge at the 12 o’clock position hides the mounting of the central hands and has the form air instrument. Between these two levels the two hands in different shapes provide an indication of hours (B) and minutes (E). The aperture in the position of 12 o'clock allows the hands to remain in the field of view, when they disappear under the bridge of the external disk.
The hands repeat the style of the sensors, both in terms of graphic design and oscillating movement. The hands and hour markers are covered with white photo-luminescent coating, contrasting with the black dial. Anti-reflective, matte finish of the watch case made of black carbon is also inspired by the color of the dashboard, developed in such a way as to eliminate sun glare and make the panel easier to read.
The diameter of the case from stainless steel is 46 mm. The watch is designed on the basis of the Swiss mechanical ETA 2892 caliber with automatic winding. The watch water-resistant is up to 100 meters. The front side of the case is protected by anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
The novelty comes on a black rubber strap or black fabric strap of high density.
