Bell & Ross BR-03 Space Mission: Earth, Moon and a Spaceplane Tell the Time

Bell & Ross has presented the BR-03 Space Mission, a limited edition of 999 pieces that replaces conventional hands with a small space scene. The watch follows the BR-03 Astro of 2025 and keeps the brand's square 41 mm case, here in black ceramic. Its price is EUR 4,990 (CHF 4,600).
Time told by a spaceplane
The dial is made of dark aventurine glass, whose glittering inclusions recall a starry sky. Above it, a transparent rotating disc printed with the Earth and the Moon serves as the hour indicator: the Moon points to the hour. A small spacecraft travels around the dial and marks the minutes with its nose. The craft is inspired by the Vortex, a reusable spaceplane concept developed by Dassault Aviation.
Ceramic case and automatic movement
The square case is micro-blasted black ceramic, 41 mm wide and 10.6 mm thick, with a sapphire crystal and a closed ceramic case back. Water resistance is 100 m. Inside is the automatic calibre BR-CAL.325, based on a Sellita movement and running at 28,800 vibrations per hour; Bell & Ross uses the same calibre in the BR-05 GMT. The watch comes on a black rubber strap or a black synthetic fabric strap, both with a pin buckle in matt black PVD-coated steel.
