SIHH- 2014: Piaget presents the world`s thinnest mechanical watch - Altiplano 900P
At the international watch exhibition SIHH 2014, to be held in Geneva in January next year, the watch brand Piaget will introduce its novelty Altiplano 900P. This is the thinnest mechanical watch in the world.
The novelty has a round polished case with a diameter of 38 mm and a thickness of 3.65 mm in 18- carat white gold. Water-resistant - 30 meters. Placed at the 3 o`clock position, the crown is decorated with the brand`s logo.

In the upper part of the main dial is set the extra dial with a gray ring on which are the hour markers. At the center of the dial are placed hour and minute hands. At the bottom of the semi-open dial there is visible the automatic caliber 900P, consisting of components 145. Between the 7 and 8 o`clock positions is posted the balance wheel, with a thickness of 0.12 mm. A sapphire crystal protects the dial.

The mechanism is assembled on the 20 jewels, equipped with a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, 48 -hour power reserve, and functions of hours and minutes.
The Altiplano 900P watch comes on a black leather strap with a buckle in 18 - carat white gold.
