SIHH 2012: Novelties of Piaget. The thinnest watch in the world
The watch company Piaget is one of the companies that may be of interest to people with completely different tastes. The last few years, the company mainly develops three areas: jewelry watches, sports watches and ultra-thin watches.
At the exhibition SIHH 2012 the company has introduced a new line of ultra-thin watches Piaget Altiplano Automatic Skeleton (Ref. G0A37132). According to the creators of watches - a model of Piaget Altiplano Automatic Skeleton - the thinnest watch in the world with automatic winding: the thickness of the model is only 5.34 mm.
The watch case in diameter of 31.9 mm is made of 18 carat white gold, highlighting the work of the finest in the world mechanism - a thickness of 2.40mm, the number of jewels - 26.
The watch is operated on the basis of the manufacturing skeletonized self- winding mechanism - Piaget 1200S, 21.600 vph, power reserve - 44 hours.
Finishing of the details are deserved a particular attention. Plate and bridges of the mechanism are polished, decorated and assembled by hand. Polished wheels are made in the form of sunlight, screws - black.
Micro rotor is made of black platinum with an engraved Piaget coat of arms. The watch strap is made of genuine alligator leather and features a classic buckle in 18 carat white gold.
