New Transforma Rivages Watch by Parmigiani Fleurier: the skipper’s watch
The famous watchmaker Parmigiani Fleurier has introduced a new model Transforma Rivages, thus demonstrating their support for the skipper Bernard Stamm during the Vendée Globe 2012 with the participation of twenty of the worldwide best sailors.

The first watch for Bernard Stamm was created in 2011, when he traveled on the monohull yacht Rivages. The new model Transforma Rivages – is a unique watch-"chameleon", turning into the pocket or an instrument of the panel board. In other words, the novelty is able to provide support in any situation.

The model is presented in a round case made of titanium and carbon fiber. The case diameter is 43 mm, thickness - 12.8 mm. Waterproof to 30 meters, the case on the top is equipped with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.

The matte black dial, decorated with blue lines forming a spherical figure, and carbon inserts on indicators of the chronograph is marked by applied hour indexes. Central hour and minute hands, covered with white fluorescent substance that promotes the ideal data readability in all lighting conditions, carry out time indication. Second’s hand and hands of the indicators are made of blued steel. The small second’s hand is put to the lateral dial at the 3 o'clock position. Date is indexed on a digital display, located in the sector aperture at the 6 o’clock position. Chronograph functions are displayed on the 30-minute indicator at 9 o'clock position, 12-hour indicator at the 6 o'clock position, and through the central second’s hand.

The new Transforma Rivages watch operates on the base of the manufacturing automatic mechanism Parmigiani PF334, collected on the 68 jewels. The caliber provides the carrying frequency of 28 800 vibrations per hour and 50-hour power reserve.
