Parmigiani Fleurier Company - Partner of Jazz Festival

The annual jazz festival, held in Montreux, is launched this year - the festival will be held from June 29 to July 14. The watch company Parmigiani Fleurier is a partner of the festival since 2007.
The organizers have the right to its logical conclusion of the festival schedule of events this year, in the central VIP-box area of 90 square meters, will be particularly intense. There will be waiting for music lovers, artists and musicians as it has already been developed. Festival, among others, has during its existence as an ideal place to meet with influential people from the world of music and sports, with whom the company Parmigiani organize musical meetings at the Cote d'Azur.
Especially for the winners of the festival in 2012 the company Parmigiani has produced fifteen vintage models Kalpa Grande and Kalpa XL, presented a limited edition of 25 items.
The watch design is specifically developed for the Jazz Festival in Montreux, and as in previous years, is inspired by a poster of the festival.

The author of the poster in 2012 has become the famous American photographer Greg Gorman, depicting the image of a picture of naked men in the movement, which, as noted by the photographer - the personification of "contemplative experience when listening to music."
A copy of the image follows the dial of the prize collection watches. Note that the image is made using a special brushing technique.
Kalpa Grande and Kalpa XL watches are based on an automatic self-winding mechanism - caliber PF 331 with central hours, minutes and second’s hand. Watches are issued in two versions: with a dial of ivory for the female model and a black dial for a male model. On the back of the steel case in a transparent back side with a sapphire glass is engraved the logo of the Montreux Jazz Festival and the date 2012.
