Double Tourbillon by ROGER DUBUIS at SIHH 2012

The massive case in diameter of 45 mm is made of lightweight and durable titanium, which further emphasizes the exclusivity of the skeletonized mechanism RD01SQ and technical capacity of the watch.
The Geneva-based manufactory since 2005 began to produce skeletonized mechanisms in a completely new, modern design - more inventive and airy. At the same time the masters of the company have tried their force at producing the most exquisite watch complication - the tourbillon, which is used to compensate for the effects of gravity on the watch mechanism, thereby increasing the accuracy of its course. Ingenious watchmakers of ROGER DUBUIS did not stop and have developed a differential double tourbillon, which is more reliable.

The new men's watch Excalibur combines all innovative projects of the company – the skeletonized mechanism of rhodium-plated in dark gray color and the double "flying" tourbillon.
The watch is collected based on the caliber RD01SQ with manual winding, consisting of 319 parts, of which 28 - synthetic rubies. Artfully decorated movement with modern skeletonized trim and double flying tourbillon was designed and assembled in the company’s workshops. The rugged and reliable caliber works with the frequency of 21 600 pc / h, power reserve is 48 hours.
Technically sophisticated, the sporty model is designed for people with active lifestyles. It is suitable for water sports: water-resistant can fall to a depth of 50 meters.
The watch comes with a hand-sewn black alligator leather strap with adjustable folding clasp in titanium.
