Mikaela Shiffrin and Alexis Pinturault - Longines Rising Stars
Acting as the official timekeeper of FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, the known company Longines held in Lenzerheide the award ceremony of Longines Rising Ski Stars.
The award was established in 2012. It is awarded to the best young athlete - women up to 21 and men up to 23 years, participated in competitions for the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup. This year`s award winners were young stars in alpine skiing Mikaela Shiffrin and Alexis Pinturault. It should be noted, that both athletes honored for the second time this award. The athletes were awarded a check worth 20,000 Swiss francs and the Longines Conquest Classic watch.

The Longines Rising Ski Stars award is part of a series of activities undertaken by Longines to support young athletes, as well as to encourage young talents. Faithful to the chosen slogan "Elegance – is the attitude", Longines organizes projects for promising young hopefuls on their partnership activities. For several years, the Longines Future Tennis Aces tournament is part of the French Open Tennis Cup. The Longines Future Racing Stars award featuring young jockeys held together with a premium Prix De Diane Longines in Chantilly. And in 2013, Longines has support skiing stars, founding the Longines Rising Ski Stars premium.
