Longines presents timepieces for fans of equestrian sports

The history of watch brand Longines is closely connected with the events of equestrian sports. Since 1926, it serves as an official partner of numerous competitions: CSIO and the CHIO of Nations Cup and CSIO Barcelona, Dubai Show Jumping Championship in Dubai, President's Cup, etc. As part of the partnership agreement, each year the brand presents new watch models for people who share its passion for racing. 2013 year is no exception: Longines has launched the Conquest Classic watch collection, which are perfect for visiting the most prestigious competitions. Source of inspiration for the new line were the watches of Longines, created in 1881 for participants racing in New York.

The name Conquest is patented by WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) on 25 May 1954. Since then, it has repeatedly used by the watch company in the name of numerous models.
The new Conquest Classic collection is presented by classical models, in development of which the masters have remained true to core values Longines - elegance, tradition, and technical excellence.

A new collection of Longines incorporates male and female models in three different sizes. Women’s watches with a diameter of 29.50 mm and 40 mm are available in stainless steel, rose gold, or a combination of stainless steel and rose gold. On a black or silver dial are highlighted large Arabic numerals "12", "6" and "9" and the date aperture, located at the 3 o'clock position. Indication of the hours, minutes and seconds are carried out by means of the central hands. There is also a version with a mother of pearl dial and twelve diamonds, acting as hour markers. In some models, the bezel is also decorated with precious stones. All versions are available on a black alligator strap, steel bracelet or bicolor bracelet in stainless steel and rose gold.

Conquest Classic watches in diameter of 41 mm are shown in a case of rose gold or a combination of stainless steel and rose gold. These models come with an indication of hours, minutes, seconds (the hand is displayed on the small dial at the 9 o’clock position), date (aperture between 4 and 5 o'clock) and chronograph (central second’s hand, 30-minute and 12-hour pointers at the 3 and 6 o’clock positions position, respectively).The dial is black or silver. The watch comes on a black alligator strap, steel bracelet or a combined bracelet of a stainless steel and pink gold.
All models from the new collection are designed on the basis of high quality automatic movements.
