Patek Philippe Timepiece specifically for Only Watch 2013
For a charity auction Only Watch 2013, which takes place in Monaco, the famous Swiss watchmaker Patek Philippe has released the model Titanium 5004T. This is a new version of the watch with a titanium case, the production of which has been discontinued. The last such model was Nautilus 5712T, released as a Piece Unique for auction in 2007, where it was sold for 525,000 Euros.
The novelty is presented in a round polished case in diameter of 36.7 mm in 18-carat white gold. The dial is made from a single piece of white gold engraved with a checkerboard, has applied with Arabic numerals in white gold and central hands. At the 11 and 13 o’clock positions there are the apertures of the day and month, the analog pointer of the leap year – at the 3 o’clock position, the moon phase indicator and the date aperture – at the 6 o'clock position. The new model is also fitted with a new split-chronograph function.
A sapphire crystal, set also on the back of the watch, protects the dial.
The novelty is collected on the base of the manual winding mechanism Lemania, with perpetual calendar module by Patek Philippe, 27, CHR-70Q5004, with features indicating the hours, minutes, seconds, date, day of week, month, leap year, moon phases, as well as split- chronograph.
