Independent watchmaker Kari Voutilainen has developed a new model 28 Sarasamon in common with one of the leading Japanese lacquer art studios Unryuan. The sleek dial of the novelty is made using ancient Japanese technologies Saiei Maki-e and Somata Zaiku, implementation of which requires several months of manual work. In the manufacture of the dial were used Kinpun (gold dust), Jyunkin-itakane (gold leaf), Yakou-gai and Awabi-gai (plant pigments).

The central part of the dial is decorated with gorgeous patterns in different shades. Adorned with lines, the dial features applied Arabic numerals 12, 3 and 9 and hour markers. Indication of hours and minutes is carried out by means of two gold hands with "Breguet apples."
The dial is inserted in a 37 mm round polished case with thickness of 10.80 mm in 18-carat pink gold.
The 28 Sarasamon watch is equipped by a manufacturing mechanism with manual winding. A special escapement with two wheels characterizes the caliber. The mechanism is compiled on the 21 jewels, has a frequency 18,000 semi-oscillations per hour, balance wheel with a diameter of 13.6 mm. The plate and bridges are made of untreated German silver (an alloy of copper, nickel and zinc), and wheels - 18-carat pink gold. The caliber is perfectly finished and decorated by hand.
