New Racing Certina Podium GMT Sauber F1 Team Watch is presented in Hinwil

The watch company Certina has pleased fans of the fast cars and fast tracks with the release of a new racing model Podium GMT Sauber F1 Team.
The watch presentation was held in June 19, 2012 at the headquarters of Team Sauber F1, located in the town of Hinwil in a 30-minute drive from Zurich.

The presentation was attended by the head of the Sauber F1 team Peter Sauber, who told the assembled guests, with which began collaboration with the watch brand: "Our cooperation began with the personal relationships with family Hayek and friendship with Nicolas G. Hayek. It was a friendship between two businessmen. "
Then the pilot Sauber F1 Team Sergio Perez introduced a new model for the guests.
The Podium GMT Sauber F1 Team watch has a pronounced sporty design that is even more emphasized using red accents on a black background. Readable, sports, and practical, they combine the functions of GMT (simultaneous display of time in two different time zones) and chronograph.

The new racing model has a matte steel case with polished bezel. Thanks to a sealed case design, with the Podium GMT Sauber F1 Team watch can safely dive to a depth of 100 meters. On the back side is engraved the inscription Sauber F1 Team and the team’s logo.
The watch comes on a gray leather strap with red stitching. It is echoed by a special presentation box, shaped like a nose of a Formula 1 car.
A new series is released in a limited edition of 2012 items. After the presentation, the head of Certina Adrian Bosshardt gave the Mexican race car driver Sergio Perez the instance number 2.

Since the model is limited edition, it can only be purchased in some countries (Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Poland and Spain). According to Adrian Bosshardt, the new models go on sale next week.
Recall that the watch company Certina in 2007 became an official partner of the Formula 1 Sauber F1 Team. As part of long-term cooperation several series of sports watches have been created.
