During his recent visit of Armin Strom manufactory in Biel, Switzerland, the driver of Marussia F1 Timo Glock has collected his personal chronograph - a watch Armin Racing Regulator, which he, as an official face of the company will carry on throughout the season in 2012. To create the bridges of the mechanism is used Timo Glock race car engine block, which had been melted down, rolled, pressed into sheets, from steel of which are stamped the parts of the mechanism ASR07-MVR with a hand-wound, retrograde date and offset from the center display. The caliber, collected on the 24 jewels and provided a 46-hour power reserve, has become the basis for a new model Armin Racing Regulator.
The case model with a diameter 43.60 mm and 14.70 mm thick is made of titanium and coated with matte black PVD-coated. The case is equipped on both sides with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The case is waterproof to 50 meters.
Time is indexed by means of the central hand in stainless steel. The dial is made in three colors of Marussia F1 Team: black, red and white.
The novelty comes on a high-tech rubber strap with titanium buckle with PVD-coated.
