BaselWorld 2012: New Collection by Obaku

Young Danish watch company Obaku at the world exhibition BaselWorld 2012 has unveiled a new collection of incomparable watches, designed by chief designer of Obaku Christian Mikkelsen.
The designer has worked over the new models during the past year. According to the designer, it will be "very pleased to see the final result and I am looking forward to when these models will take their places on the watch market."
The company’s designer in creating each model paid a great attention to every detail. The watches of Obaku differ with minimalist design, in which there is a certain simplicity and serenity. These features are present in the new models of Obaku. The collection is supplemented by new original watches, decorated with Swarovski crystals. These amazing stones are used in the watches so that they do not interfere with the basic design, but rather emphasize their magnificent appearance, harmoniously combined with the simplicity of design.

The new collection includes unique watches both for men and women.
Push-buttons and Minimalism – these are gorgeous men's watches - chronographs, supplemented by a usual bracelet or a bracelet in a grid. Models are presented in square or round cases, are equipped with black dials, on which are located pointers at the 12 and 6 o’clock positions. A separate counter is at the 9 o’clock position, and a small aperture of the date – at the 4 o’clock position. Indication of hours, minutes and seconds is carried out by three central hands. The watches are available also in other color versions.
A Masculine Minimalist V147GCISC watch is presented in a circular case made of steel. There are also other versions of this model with cases of titanium (V147GTJST) and the black finish (V147GBBSB). The watch dials are equipped with hour indexes, three hands and a circular date aperture at 6 o'clock position. All the models are supplemented with bracelets of different materials. The watch water resistant is 50 meters.

The new collection consists of elegant and feminine models Timeless and Chic. These watches are characterized by big round cases, white dials, reminiscent of the empty space where the only visible elements are the hour and minute hands and the brand’s logo. Material and color of cases are continued on thin straps or bracelets on both sides, giving an elegant appearance to the watches.
Refined elegance V150LABRB, V150LABRB1 and V150LGIRW are the following female models which will not leave indifferent a beautiful part of the planet. Excellent novelties are made in the form of a bracelet. They are equipped with thin colored cases, made of different materials. The watch dials, presented in different color versions, are equipped with two hands and brand’s logo at the 12 o'clock position. In some models instead of hour markers are inserted Swarovski crystals. The watches are complemented by straps in different shades.

Obaku's Sparkly Statement – luxury women's watches, which occupy a special place in the collection of the brand. The watch cases are made of different materials and colors. A new element in these watches is adorned with Swarovski crystal bezels, giving an elegant and sophisticated look to the watches. Some models of this line are equipped with a small aperture of the date at the 6 o'clock position. Others are equipped with two hands and black dials, reminiscent of empty space, where there are no even hour markers. The watches are supplemented by leather straps in different colors.
Diverse classics in new design - a classical model, designed specifically for men. The black dial has three hands and hour markers in the form of thin lines. A small circular date aperture is set at the 6 o’clock position. The built into the watch round steel case black leather strap gives a modern look to the watch. There are also other color versions of this model.
