The prestigious design award Red Dot in the category " wrist watches: the best of the best," is received by Ventura and Louis Moinet companies. The winners are chosen among the 14 000 products that are nominated for the prestigious competition of 1800 companies from 70 countries worldwide.

Therefore, we believe our award is one of the most important events in the watch business, and the Red Dot presence of a particular company - the real proof of success.

Our award is a great tool for competent marketing, which is able to draw attention to the product. I do not know whether it may be Red Dot crucial in order to buy a watch, but one of the key - exactly as it is a real opportunity to show the high level of creativity for the model’s creators.

Also Red Dot - a fashion indicator in the world of watches, because it received by the most non-standard from the recognized works. Thus, companies that produce watches can personally observe the trends not only in the world of design, but also the preferences of their potential customers. By choosing a wristwatch, which will be awarded the prize, we are approaching very carefully. The jury, consisting of 30 experts from different countries, is gathered. Experts from the jury simply do not learn a watch, but each product is tested by checking for compliance with the criteria of innovation, functionality, environmental friendliness, as well as ease of use. It is a real research of the market."

For Red Dot Award for the best design were submitted 19 products from different categories: not only watches, even paper clips, cars and architecture. Getting the Red Dot award is not only a sign of quality, but also the highest level of the design implementation and technical execution. This year the prizes were awarded for only 1% of all applicants. The formal awarding of prizes awarded Red Dot Awards will be held July 2 in Germany, in the theater Aalto Essen. The works, received the prize, will be exposed in the own Red Dot design museum in Essen in the period from 3 to 29 of July, 2012.
