BaselWorld 2012: Split-Seconds Chronograph and Perpetual Calendar Watch by Patek Philippe
The renowned watchmaker Patek Philippe at the exhibition BaselWorld 2012 has presented the admirable model Split-Seconds Chronograph and Perpetual Calendar (Ref. 5204).
The new chronograph is equipped by a round case with a diameter of 40 mm, made of platinum. The silver-colored opal dial is equipped with overhead hour markers, hour and minute hands, coated with luminous material. At the 9 o’clock position there is a small second hand, at the 6 o’clock position - the date with the indicator of moon phases on a round hand-type pointer, and the dual rectangular aperture of the date of the day and month is located at the markers "11" and "13". The aperture of the day / night is located between the indices of "7" and "8", the indicator of a leap year - between the labels "4" and "5", and at the 3 o’clock position - a 30-minute counter of the split-chronograph.
The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, set on the case back. The watch is equipped by a manufactory mechanism CHR29-535 PSQ with manual winding and a 48-hour power reserve. Functions: hours, minutes, seconds, perpetual calendar (day, date, month, leap year), the pointer day / night, moon phases, and split-chronograph.
The watch water-resistant is 30 meters. The model is available on a black alligator strap with a platinum buckle.
