BaselWorld 2012: DS Action Diver Automatic Chronograph Watch by Certina

The company Certina has delighted the fans of extreme sports at the international watch exhibition BaselWorld 2012 with a new DS Action Diver Automatic Chronograph watch. Uncompromising design and technical characteristics of the DS Action Diver Automatic Chronograph watch is made in accordance with the stringent requirements that apply a diving watch - standard ISO 6425.
The perfect chronograph can be called a real men’s watch in all respects, since it is an organic compound of a dynamic modern design and traditional resistant construction of Certina, reliable in almost all emergency situations. The watch has a great advantage over other timepieces of the same category - an affordable price.
The solid watchcase of DS Action Diver Automatic Chronograph in diameter of 45.2 mm is made of brushed steel and a wide coarse polished bezel. It is extremely easy to use thanks to its large volume figures and luminescent coating Superluminova, ensuring an extremely easy reading of the testimony, even at great depths.

The crown is screwed-down, with an engraved monogram DS. The main case also contains three push buttons screwing to ensure the chronograph functions and winding. The case back of the watch is also screwed, which provides the water-resistance of the model to a depth of 200 meters.
The black dial profitably sets off the luminous hour markers and hands, besides it highlighting the point of stressing on the luminous red and white second hand. From the dangers of the underwater world the dial is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. On the dial, among other things are second and 30-minute counters.
The DS Action Diver Automatic Chronograph watch operates on the basis of an automatic mechanism ETA 7753, providing the indication of hours, minutes, seconds and date display, the aperture is located at 4 o’clock position. Quick set date button is located at 10 o’clock position.
An interesting touch of the watch design becomes a black PVD coating on the tops of two buttons and, as a reference to the company's history - shown on the case back of a turtle- a symbol of exceptional waterproof watch, which the company used since 1950-1960s.
Special attention is given to the three-row bracelet (Ref: C013.427.11.051.00), made of brushed stainless steel and equipped with a folding clasp with safety and function of elongation, which provides the versatility of the original model.
The DS Action Diver Automatic Chronograph watch, among other things can also be equipped with a rubber strap (Ref: C013.427.17.051.00), which is decorated with the words “Certina Diver” and historical company logo, a folding clasp and extension function.
The reliability of the new chronograph is guaranteed by full compliance with watches of diving - ISO 6425, as exemplified by the inscription on the dial – “Diver's watch 200 m / ISO 6425."
Retail price of the Chronograph starts from 2.180 Swiss francs for the model on the bracelet, and from 2,150 Swiss francs for the model on the rubber strap.
