New Model JETLINER by CVSTOS at the WPHH

The Swiss watch company Franck Muller is known worldwide not only for its exclusive wristwatches, but as the organizer of WPHH - World Presentation of Haute Horlogerie. For the first time an independent watch exhibition WPHH was organized in 1998 in the town of Genthod, located on the suburbs of Geneva. Organized by the Swiss company the exhibition has become a meeting place for many popular watch brands that are able to present their new models. The exhibition provides WPHH for brands within the Franck Muller Group: Franck Muller, Franck Muller Jewellery, Pierre Kunz, Backes & Strauss, Martin Braun, and others. The Swiss watch brand CVSTOS, which is one of the brands in Franck Muller Group, at the exhibition WPHH, passing from 14 to 21 January 2012, has unveiled its new model JETLINER.
An exclusive watch JETLINER is a tribute to the world of travel and private jet. By creating a model, the master set a goal that is important in industry and aeronautics: lightness, which is primarily reflected in the watch design. To create the model masters has encountered a problem; namely, change some details of the mechanism. This is another challenge for the company's CVSTOS watchmakers, being in constant search for innovative technologies. The manufacturing movement CVSTOS CVS350 was almost completely rebuilt; some elements were added, resulting in a developed of the mechanism skeletonizing. Most importantly, the change of the mechanism does not affect either the accuracy of the course, or a function.
This philosophy of the lightness was applied not only to a mechanism, but also in the design creating. It was reflected in the case, the strap and the other part of the watch. Significant efforts were made to reduce the thickness of the case. It should be noted that the model JETLINER from the CVSTOS collection has a very slim case.
Simplicity and lightness of model JETLINER give her a special grace and elegance. The new model feels kind of avant-garde JETLINER elegance. The right strategy and philosophy of the brand are played a crucial role in creating new items with which the company CVSTOS is moving boldly in the future. What she does now, other brands will do tomorrow.
The barrel-shaped watch case (53.70 mm x 41 mm x 13.35 mm) is made of polished titanium N5, steel or red gold. Black dial, decorated in an exclusive CVSTOS design, has large Arabic numerals coated with luminous compound. Fluorescent substance coats three chrome hands. At 6 o’clock position is the date aperture. In the central part of the watch dial is visible the skeletonized mechanism. The dial is protected by an antiglare sapphire crystal. The case back is also closed by the sapphire crystal. The model is complemented by black leather or rubber strap. The watch is supplied with the manufactory skeletonized mechanism CVSTOS CVS 350 on the 21 jewels, with a frequency of 28 800 vph, power reserve of 42 hours.
The unique watch JETLINER in an original designer version is a proof of brand’s watchmakers and designers skill, which never rests on its laurels but strives for perfection.
