The design of our watches would be relevant not only now but many years later. Our designers have to use beige color as a base that suits perfectly with a wide range of clothing. "
The name of the young watchmaker Obaku borrowed from the branch of Zen Buddhism – Obaku, and the brand logo is a repetition of "the circle of life" which the school is considered an important symbol of Zen school. The brand's founders - Danish designers Christian Mikkelsen and Lau Liengaard Ruge - have created watch collections that combines the tradition of Scandinavian design and the philosophy of Zen. The collections Obaku comprise 260 models. Nowadays the brand is represented in 56 countries.
