The Finnish independent manufacture Kari Voutilainen has presented a new watch model Vingt-8, which is an ideal combination of stylish design and reliable mechanism.
Despite the modern appearance, the new wrist watch is made in the best traditions of classical watchmaking. The novelty is offered in a round white gold case with firm drop-shaped lugs for strap setting. The case has a diameter of 39 mm and a thickness of 11.5 mm. The case on the top is equipped with an antiglare sapphire crystal, which serves also as a transparent case back.
The dial of the model is made of silver and fitted with applied Arabic numerals and hour markers in white gold. White gold is used for the producing of the central hour, minute and second hands. At 6 o’clock position is an indicator of a small second hand.
A first manufactory mechanism by Kari Vutilaynena Calibre 28 with manual winding is built into the Vingt-8 case. The diameter of the caliber is 30 mm, height - 5,6 mm. The caliber is paved with 21 jewels and provides a 50-hour power reserve. "The highlight" of the mechanism is the large-sized balance with a diameter of 13.6 mm and the carrying frequency of 18 000 vph. The balance Gyromax is equipped with a spiral Schtraumann, the outer loop of which is terminated Breguet, and the inner loop - terminated Grossmann. Balance with the specific features in any adjustment provides a high isochronous of the mechanism. Plates and bridges of the mechanism are made of nickel silver and the wheels are made of pink gold.
The wristwatch Vingt-8 is available on a hand sewn alligator strap, fitted with a buckle in 18 carat gold.
