New Octo Chronograph Timepiece by Bulgari

The watch brand Bulgari has announced the release of a new model Octo Chronograph, which combines Italian design decision and Swiss makeovers. The architecture of the novelty is based on the octagon, which is considered a universal geometric figure and carries a special meaning and symbolism.
The new Octo Chronograph watch, became the completion of the Octo collection, is presented in three versions: stainless steel with crocodile strap, 18-carat pink gold, steel with a steel bracelet.
The model Bulgari Octo Chronograph has a diameter of 41.5 mm and a thickness of 13 mm. Waterproof up to 50 meters, the case is equipped with a double sapphire crystal. The round bezel adorns the octagonal case equipped with an octagonal crown with black ceramic inserts. To create a special texture were applied over 110 satin and polished surfaces. The case on the front side is equipped with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, also mounted on the back cover.

The multilayer black lacquered dial, polished by hand, is equipped with hour markers and hands coated with rhodium or rose gold. On the dial, there are three additional displays forming the letter “V”: the second’s indicator at the 3 o’clock position, hour indicator at the 6 o’clock position and the minute indicator at the 9 o’clock position.
The Bulgari Octo Chronograph model is based on the manufacturing movement BVL 328, assembled at the 31 jewels (base caliber El-Primero). The caliber has a balance frequency of 36,000 pc / h, chronograph with column wheel and a silicon escapement. Power reserve - 50 hours.
The world premiere of the Bulgari Octo Chronograph watch will be held at the upcoming watch exhibition Baseworld 2014.
