New GEFICA HUNTER Limited Edition Watch by Bulgari

The renowned watch company Bulgari, founded in 1884 in Rome by Sotirio Bulgari and engaged in the development of delightful jewelry and watches, presents its novelty called GEFICA HUNTER and issued in a limited edition.
In 1988, the famous Italian watchmaker Gerald Genta has presented the first watch model Gefica, which was born in a dispute between friends while hunting for the "African Big Five." The name GEFICA is formed from the merger of the first two letters of their names: Geoffroy, Fissore and Canali. Since the GEFICA watch was conceived as a hunting watch, it is distinguished by the revolutionary usage of bronze in the case finishing, so the watch does not shine under the sun and thus do not attract the attention of animals.
The company Bulgari has decided to pay homage to the legendary wristwatch, giving it the spirit of the XXI century with a new mechanism with second time zone indication and moon phases.
The round case of the model GEFICA HUNTER in diameter of 46.50 mm and thickness of 19.65 mm is made of bronze with sandblasted and brushed titanium with the transparent case back. The crown is made of bronze and titanium. Multi-level dial is covered with black lacquer and matte finish and equipped with white numerals, date aperture at the top, the moon phase indicator at the 4 o’clock position and the second time zone window at 7 o’clock position. The big skeletonized minute hand and the thin red seconds hand are located in the central part of the dial. The dial is protected by a domed double-sided anti-reflective scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
The case back of the watch is made of matt-polished titanium with a transparent sapphire glass, engraved with individual number, waterproof and logo Genta. The model is complemented by the black alligator strap with folding clasp in titanium. The watch water-resistant is up to 100 meters.
The novelty is equipped with a manufactory mechanism GG 1006 with self-winding. The mechanism is built on 41 jewels, the frequency of - 28 800 vph, power reserve - 45 hours. The caliber is modified with "jumping" hour, a retrograde minute hand (180 °), a central second hand, second time zone and a moon phase indicator.
