DeWitt: watches for new emperors
The famous watchmaker DeWitt this year decided not to take part at the international exhibition BaselWorld 2013 and hosted from April 25 to May 2, their guests and partners in their manufacture. "At present, the dimensions of the exhibition, the division into large groups does not allow us to fully demonstrate our understanding of the art of watchmaking. There we would have been lost in the crowd - explained CEO DeWitt, Viviane Jutheau de Witt this choice. - We want to share our experience and values, to show the complexity of the operations needed to create a watch movement, and the whole range of crafts, by means of which are carried out dials. Visitors will have the opportunity to plunge into the world of watch tools and machines of the 18th and 19th centuries, collected in the manufacture’s museum, and appreciate the beauty of the building's architecture. This technique is sure to strengthen our ties with our partners."

Twenty-8-Eight Tourbillon watches
In 2013, the company DeWitt has exhibited the Twenty-8-Eight collection, edition of which is dedicated to Napoleon, who proclaimed "Emperor of the French," in 28 of Floreal by the Republican calendar. The collection this year joined by two models with a tourbillon presented in a limited quantity of 99 pieces, and two models with a retrograde second. Design of the novelties Twenty-8-Eight Tourbillon plays on the contrasts created by bold combinations of white gold and titanium with glacier PVD-coated, or pink gold and titanium with bronze PVD-coated.
The dials are made in the Art Deco style: the tourbillon carriage is enclosed in a beaded circle and with vertically mounted applications.

Academia Mirabilis watches
The watches with retrograde seconds function are embedded in a case of neotitanium 5 Grade. The dials with graphics are available in two color versions.
The combination of white gold and titanium with glacier PVD-coated, or pink gold and titanium with bronze PVD-coated is also used in the models of the new Academia Mirabilis collection, skeletonized dials of which are decorated with images of Mirabilis or Belles de nuit, dropped down only at night.

Academia Grande Date and Hora Mundi watches
New versions of Academia Grande Date and Hora Mundi watches are presented in a steel version and equipped with steel bracelets.
Both collections are released in a limited quantity of 200 items.
